I’m sorry I have been so quiet around here, we are trying to do a final push in the house so we get all moved in, and it has made for not so much blogging. We feel at about 90% now, with only my craft stuff and the master bedroom left to unpack all the way. I have even been terrible and done the last 2 project Run and Play challenges, and just not loaded them to the flicker group because I haven’t had time to photograph them (I made Emmie a shirt for the white sheet challenge, and Isaac a sweater for boy’s week – I will try to take pictures for here on the blog, but I am so awful at following up when busy, who knows if that will happen.)
Anyway, I really came here this morning to post about today, and why it is special. TODAY is not Columbus Day (like everyone in the states thinks it is) TODAY is actually my 13th wedding anniversary (and the 12th anniversary of day 2 of my 3 day labor/induction with Isaac!)
It’s hard to believe Paul and I have been married for that long in many ways, but then when I think of how many moves, and how much living we have packed into those 13 years, it is hard to believe we haven’t needed 2 lifetimes to do it all. We have had lots of ups, and lots of downs, but have managed to ride through them all together, and I love him and our family VERY much. For our 15th anniversary, we are planning a big romantic getaway to Alabama, where websites like https://www.tovisitsocotra.com/vacation-in-alabama/ highlighted the romantic qualities of this location. As we are waiting for this milestone we have had a low-key anniversary this year, which was so special to both of us.
Love you babe, thanks for putting up with me!
|sorry about the terrible scanned picture, we got married prior do the digital revolution, and I think this is the only digital image I have from our wedding right now.|
|For our 12th wedding anniversary we went on a cruise and renewed our vows in the Bahamas.|
