Charley is 8 Months Old

So, I know this isn’t a crafting/sewing post, but I wanted to share it here anyway!  If you follow me on fb than you already know that my sister Sarah, and Paul arranged for Sarah and Charley to fly into town to visit me as a surprise (the kids were hecka surprised too!) So we have been keeping so busy working on projects, and smooching the baby; we are going to fit a lot into the next 2 weeks!!!

Anyway, one of the things we did today was to take baby boy’s 8 month pictures.

I mean come on right? He’s the sweetest little Muppet you have ever seen.

We went up to a local Buddhist Temple, and it has the most beautiful lanterns out, all in honor of Buddha’s Birthday.

We took the quilt I made for So You Think You Are Crafty, so he had something to sit on,

And we just let him go at it with his silly self 🙂

I feel so lucky to have a sister who will travel with her baby, across half the world, just so we don’t miss out on seeing her little one as he grows.

It’s such a gift to a military family to have visitors!

It’s also fun and exciting to get to share Korea, and Korean culture with our family.

Miss Emmie has been in heaven, I think she may smother poor Charley with her love, but she wants him to adore her desperately!

He loves her so much, (but frequently feels overwhelmed by her enthusiasm!)

It has been so fun to have my big-little sister here again too, Sarah and I always have such a great time together, she’s so easy going and up for anything! (we joke that Sarah is mother, and I am other mother)

I’m loving seeing them again so much, and I am going to eat them up over the next little bit, so if things are quiet here (not that that’s new, I just have a really great excuse now!)

SONY DSC

’cause how could you not want to spend every second eating this up?
