Halloween 2014

I know I am late again (story of my life!) I thought I would take good pictures, and that I would have fun photo shoots, but instead we had RAIN, and a lot of it. So only I have bad indoor pictures, but they will have to do!

I got the skull sign from Zulilly, and the Owl ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

I always like to decorate our front door for holidays, it makes it feel more like home to us, especially since we are in an apartment, where all the doors generally look the same!

My mom brought me the orange glitter sign, the canvas skull sign is from Pottery Barn on clearance last year. I made the paper mache skulls The tree is one I keep out year round, I just hang new things in it all the time. The small skeletons were from the BX (along with the spider wrapped around the base) and the ornaments are also from Zulily.

I wrote “Spooky” on the chalk pennant that lives above my door and added more of the skeletons.

I really love decorating the little tree by my front door, I guess I don’t believe decorated trees are just for Christmas 🙂

My front door also has a paper wreath that I made from a book I purchased at a thrift store.

I have a tutorial I wrote for this style of wreath for a Christmas version, maybe I will post it before Christmas 🙂 Anyway, I guess I finally have now posted about my Halloween door decor (I literally took pictures just before taking it down!!!) Tomorrow I will have Paul’s and my Halloween Costumes, and then the Kids, etc. Just in time for everyone to be out of a Halloween mood!

It looks fantastic! I love that you leave the tree out all year round- they’re definitely not just for Christmas 🙂 xxx
